4th place finish World Rowing Championships

It wa s fourth place finish for Australia’s PR3 mixed coxed four at the 2022 World Rowing Championships.

As the fastest qualifiers in the PR3 Mixed Four heat #2, the crew of James Talbot, Tom Birtwhistle, Al Viney, Jess Gallagher and cox Teesaan Koo went into the A-Final in a strong position. Racing pushed to another level with Great Britain securing a World Best winning time and the Gold. Australia fought hard and secured fourth position behind Great Britain, Germany and France, a good result for this new combination.
