What an honour it was to represent Australia as a rower for the first time.
If you had of told me when I started my Paralympic career 16 years ago that I would wear the green & gold across 4 sports I would have said you were crazy. It’s amazing where life can take you.
Training & racing in Gavirate, Italy & being based at the Australian Institute of Sport European Training Centre has been wonderful & it was made even more special when our team came home with 2 silver medals from our 2 regettas at the Gavirate International Para Regatta. It was then onto Belgrade, Serbia for World Cup 1 with another 2nd place finish behind the Paralympic champions GB.
Grazie to everyone who has helped me along the way! Lots was learnt and a whole lot more to learn. Onwards & upwards to the next adventure.
