As 2023 came to a close it was time for a difficult decision to be made.
Having qualified the womens tandem and the PR3 4+ for the 2024 Paris Paralympics and upon learning that these events would be held on the same day in Paris it became abudently clear… you can’t be in two places at once!

It has been an extraordinary two years concureently representing Australia in both rowing and track cycling, achieving the ultmate goal of qualifying both for the Paralympics but that chapter now needed to come to a close.
With the circumstances outside our control requiring a decision to be made, track cycling would be the sport I chose to move forwards with. In the end, it came down to one simple question, which sport did I believe gave me the best opportunity to win a Paralympic medal?

Competing across both sports has taken a mammoth team, spanning two very different sports and I will be forever grateful to those who helped make this crazy opportunity a reality.
Here’s to an exciting 2024 ahead…!
