I’m delighted to again be involved with Premier’s Active April as an ambassador!
It’s a fantastic initiative and part of the Victorian Government’s commitment to promote healthy, active lifestyles and get Victorians to join in the fun of increased physical activity. We are asking all Victorian’s to commit to 30 minutes of movement each day of April, you can track your progress through the mobile app, set goals, win prizes and follow along with your friends.
As part of my involvement this year I went to the Rod Laver Arena rooftop terrace to take a 30 minute HIIT class for some of the Melbourne and Olympic Park staff. I devised a session that utilised body weight exercise to demonstrate that you can get your body moving anytime and anywhere with no equipment neccessary and just a little imagination. It was tons of fun and hopefully a great workout for everyone, I know I was sweating and puffing!
