The Puppy Games!
Here’s some news that will certainly put a smile on your face. There is nothing quite like the joy a cute puppy can bring let alone 4 of them. Head-to-head, tail-to-tail let me introduce to you the inaugral Puppy Games!
What are the Puppy Games you ask? Well here’s the scoop from Vision Australia.
“Have you ever wondered what it takes to cut it as a Seeing Eye Dog?
Now is your chance to find out. Join us at 12pm on Thursday July 23 for the first-ever Seeing Eye Dogs Puppy Games, proudly supported by the Petbarn Foundation and Royal Canin.
From the Petbarn Dogstacle Distraction Course and the Time Trial Challenge to the ROYAL CANIN® Puppy Food Bowl Challenge, four of our pups and their trainers will go head-to-head (and tail-to-tail) to showcase their skills and the real-life challenges they may face as a Seeing Eye Dog.
As the pups go through their challenges, each will be given a score and at the end, one crowned the official Seeing Eye Dogs Puppy Games winner.
Trained Seeing Eye Dogs are elite athletes, but these pups … well, they haven’t mastered all the skills yet… so anything could happen!”
Whilst the Tokyo Paralympic and Olympic Games might be psotponed be sure to register and check out the live stream 23/07/20 to watch Brit and Yaris (9 weeks), David and Meadows (5 months), Paige and Norris (5 months) and Claire and Unique (3 months) and see who takes all the GLORY!!!
