Lock it in Eddie…

What a thrill it was to be a part of the Who Wants To Be A Millionaire Sports Special! Fun and terrifying but all for an incredible cause with each athlete having the opportunity to play for and win money for their chosen charity. Naturally, for me Vision Australia were my charity of choice and I hope I can do them proud.

I can now hands down say that sitting in the famous chair is MUCH harder than playing at home from the couch. Fortunately we were playing in pairs which definitely made things easier and I was ecstatic to be paired with Mack Horton, Olympic swimmer.

We are also joined in the special by basketball legends Lauren Jackson and Andrew ‘Gazey’ Gaze, football star’s Gary Ablett Jr and Tayla Harris, NRL icon Billy Slater and Netball’s Geva Mentor. Whilst we might be great at our jobs on the sporting field we were all feeling the nerves prior to getting the call up on stage. The iconic ‘pressure’ music, the dim lights… how did we go?
