Professional development is an area I thrive on. I love learning new information and skills, challenging my perspective, beliefs and values so naturally I was incredibly excited to receive a scholarship in the inaugural Women’s Board Leadership program developed by the Victorian Government in partnership with the Australian Institute of Company Directors.

The scholarship provided me the opportunity to complete the AICD Foundations of Directorship course. It was a fantastic 3 days learning about the world of Governance, further enhancing my capabilities and contribution in my director role at Vision 2020 Australia.

Thank you to the Victorian Government and all those involved, in my experiences the support through these initiatives and programs is incredibly important as without this scholarship I along with perhaps many others would not have had the chance to learn and develop our skills so this support is greatly appreciated.
